Previews announced for new cat documentary

It has been announced there will be five preview screenings of KEDI, the new film about the street cats of Istanbul, starting on Monday 26 June 2017.

The short UK tour will visit London, Nottingham and Sheffield before a nationwide cinema release on 30 June.

Each screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the director Ceyda Torun who will explain more about the innovative cat cameras and filming techniques used to capture the unique lives of these roaming street cats.

The full preview schedule is as follows:

Monday 26 June – BFI Southbank, London
Wednesday 28 June – Broadway, Nottingham
Thursday 29 June – Showroom, Sheffield
Friday 30 June – Picturehouse Central, London
Saturday 1 July – DocHouse, London

KEDI has taken $2.7 million during a hugely successful run in the US and has received acclaim from the New York Times, The Economist and the Hollywood Reporter.
